Overview
This section describes how to setup a product with inventory control on for use on the point of sale (POS). The administrator will be automatically notified by email when supplies reach a specified low count so more product can be ordered. To complete the process, you will need to do the following:
Prerequisites
- Create a Category for Point of Sale and WEB
Create a new Category or use an existing one for displaying the Product on the point of sale. - Create a Revenue Type for Admission Tickets
Use an existing or create a new Revenue Type for subtotals in reporting. - Create a Ticket Template for PDF Download
Use an existing or create a new Ticket Template for ticket PDF download options. - Create a Receipt Template for POS Tickets
Use an exiting or create a new Receipt Template for ticket receipt printing at the POS. - Create a Ticket Type for Admission Tickets
Use an existing or create a new Ticket Type with desired ticket behavior. - Create Product Attributes for Reservations
Use existing or create new Product Attributes for use with Reservations. - Create a Revenue Type for Point of Sale and WEB
Use an existing or create a new Revenue Type for subtotals in reporting.
Steps to Create Date/Time Specific Ticket w/ Inventory
- Create a Ticket Product
Create a new admission ticket Product. - Create Inventory for Date/Time Reservation Products
Add Product Attributes to Product, create reservation date/time values and generate inventory. - Create a Zone
Use an existing or create a new Zone. - Add Category to Zone
- Add Product to Zone
